Effective 14 September 2026.
This policy explains what personal data SEODomain ("we", "us") collects when you use seodomain.io (the "Service"), why, and what rights you have. The data controller is SEODomain, reachable at [email protected].
Account data. Your name, e-mail address and password (stored only as a one-way hash), the date you verified your address, and your alert preference.
Activity in the Service. The listings you unlocked and when, the offers you sent (domain, amount and your message), and whether you used the one-time demo.
Billing data. When you buy a membership, payment is handled by our payment processor. We receive and keep the customer and subscription identifiers it assigns to you, the plan, billing period and payment status. We never receive your full card number.
Messages to us. What you write to [email protected] and our replies.
Technical data. Your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and error logs, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
| Purpose | Legal basis |

| Taking payments and keeping billing records | Performance of the contract; legal obligations for accounting records |
| E-mails about your account: verification, password reset, payment and membership notices | Performance of the contract |
| New domain alerts for members | Your choice in the dashboard; you can switch them off at any time |
| Security, abuse prevention and fixing faults | Our legitimate interest in a safe, working Service |
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Each of them processes data only to provide its service. Some of them are based outside your country, including in the United States; where this applies, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
We use only the cookies the Service needs to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and a security token that protects forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You can switch off new domain alerts in the dashboard or through the link in each alert. To use any other right, write to [email protected] from the address on your account. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Passwords are stored as hashes, the whole site runs over HTTPS and access to the database is limited to the people who run the Service. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so please use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere.
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy. The version in force is always on this page, with its effective date. Material changes are announced by e-mail to members before they apply.
